Since 2004 the annual Melbourne Prize, which is run by the Melbourne Prize Trust, has been providing opportunities to Victorian writers, sculptors and musicians, which helps develop our creative sector.

The annual Melbourne Prize operates with the support of private and public sector community investment. As one of the most valuable prizes of its kind in Australia, the annual Melbourne Prize positions Melbourne and Victoria as a center of opportunity for artists.

The Melbourne Prize Trust has DGR status and is listed on the Register of Cultural Organisations and donations are fully tax-deductible.
