Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture 2020

$60,000

Supported by The Vera Moore Foundation.

The Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture 2020 will recognise and reward a Victorian sculptor for their existing body of work.

It will also take into consideration their contribution to the  practice of sculpture over their career, and their current work in progress and proposed work.

The Prize is open to to artists across all career stages.

 

 

 

 

Rural & Regional Development Award 2020

$40,000

Supported by The Geoff and Helen Handbury Foundation to provide opportunities to sculptors in rural and regional Victoria

The Rural & Regional Development Award 2020 will recognise and reward a sculptor who resides in rural and regional Victoria. It will provide the winner with the opportunity to develop their practice and benefit their community.

The Award is open to to artists across all career stages.

 

 

The GURNER™ Commission will not be awarded this year.

 

Professional Development Award 2020

$10,000

Supported by Federation Square and the Melbourne Prize Trust.

The Award will be given to a Victorian sculptor to develop their practice.

The Award is open to to artists across all career stages.

 

Civic Choice Award 2020

$3,000

Supported by the Melbourne Prize Trust.

Awarded to a finalist in the Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture 2020 with the highest number of public votes.

Voting opens on September 2 at www.melbourneprize.org and closes on November 11 at 5pm.
